Transcripts

Transcripts must come directly from, and bear the seal of, the issuing institution. If the institution issues transcripts directly to you, the envelope must be sealed by the institution and remain in the sealed envelope until opened by York University to be considered official.
Photocopied or faxed transcripts are not accepted as official documents.
Transcripts must include a list of courses and marks obtained for each course.
In countries where Degree Certificates/Diplomas are issued separately (i.e. Bangladesh, China, India, Iran, Pakistan etc.) official copies must also come directly from the issuing institution.
If the name on your transcript differs from the legal name you currently use, make sure you include your former name on your application form.
